Specialising in Sports Therapy, Therapeutic Massage, Vodder MLD/Lymphatic Drainage
(Adv Dip. Sports Therapy/International Institute of Health & Holistic Therapists/Vodder Level 3 Advanced MLD Practitioner)
An introduction from Kelly.
My name is Kelly Dean. I am the founder of South Downs Holistic Health and The proprietor of the Monarch's Way Clinic.
The clinic is a self contained purpose built private annexe to the side of our home and is named after The Monarch’s Way, one of the longest of all English long distance footpaths. The Way follows the path taken by Prince Charles II as he fled to France following the sound thrashing of his army at the Battle of Worcester in 1651 in the English Civil War.
Findon is a lovely village in the South Downs National Park. I particulary love spending time trail running across the surrounding Downs. The views are always spectacular and I never tire of looking out across the beautiful Sussex countryside.
I started my career back in 2002, having graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Sports Therapy and Health & Holistic Therapies at Chichester College.
I went on to study at the Vodder Clinic in Walschee, Austria in 2009 to complete my qualification in MLD & Combined Decongestive Therapy.
I continue to further my training and academic interest in bodywork and holistic health with ongoing courses and seminars.
I have worked with sports professionals and professional sports teams. I spent four years working within a clinic enviroment, alongside other healthcare professionals and went on to start my own private practice in 2010 after the birth of my second son. I regularly receive referrals from NHS services and the Private Health Sector.
Although my years of working have been based on clinical teachings, having worked with many people, I have come to see the importance of Holistic Health. Not just physical wellness but also the importance of balance in life, healthy eating, relaxation and spiritual health.
I am a fully qualifed and insured member of the
British Lymphology Society and MLD UK, the UK's professional
association of Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapists.
I also am available to see patients at Core Physio in Southfarm Road, Worthing - by appointment only.
Els De Ruysser Reflexology VTCT Level 3, Reiki and Qualified SAM-therapist (Script Ash Method)
An Introduction from Els.
My name is Els De Ruysser. I was born and raised in
I love people and want people to love, heal and
find their true self!
Recently I founded Alma Pura, which offers
therapies for the body mind and soul and am very excited to be part of Kelly’s
Monarch’s Way Clinic.
I obtained my VTCT level 3 certificate in
Reflexology at the City College of Brighton and Hove in June 2013.
I am also a qualified SAM-therapist since 2003.
The powerful Script-Ash-Method or SAM, designed by
Belgian Ria Mattheussen in 1990, is a seven-step method that guides and
supports you during your journey inwards.
Script Ash Method cleanses the brain from pain,
suffering and fear, so you can finally live in love.
I incorporate this, as well as my experiences with
reiki, energy healing, chakra and colour studies, in my practice of reflexology
to add an extra dimension to the sessions, so that you have a more profound
I have positively impacted the lives of clients
with a wide range of issues, such as Graves’ disease, heartache, migraines,
sciatica, lower back and neck aches, lack of self-confidence, Candida virus,
scoliosis and sexual blockages.
I supported a new mum with her return to work by
balancing her hormones after giving birth and nurturing her when she in turn
was nurturing her baby.
One client noticed how reflexology made him more
open to sentient beings and helped him to allow love in his life.
People find the treatments relaxing and grounding
as well as a welcome time and space in their very hectic and busy lives.
Continuous reflexology sessions build a stronger
immunity and are detoxifying.
I see feet change before my eyes, as well as the
lives of the people.
