You may feel tense and unable to relax and unwind. You may not have had an injury but may just feel stiff and out of sorts. You may feel that you need to have your muscles gently but efficiently stretched and soothed. This massage is for exactly for that.
Kelly will go through a few questions with you to make sure she can tailor the treatment specifically to your needs. This massage is based on Traditional Swedish Massage, with long soothing, flowing strokes combined with some deeper massage. With massage oils.
This massage is for targeting specific muscles which are overly stressed or tense. This could be due overuse, injury or repetitive strain.
Kelly will go through a few questions, look at your posture and range of movement. Pinpoint specific areas of stiffness, pain and lack of mobility and then tailor the treatment specifically to your needs.
Myofascial Release, Trigger point therapy, deep tissue techniques and passive stretching may also be used. Kelly may also prescribe some stretching and strengthening exercises to help you recover.
Lymphatic massage can be beneficial for general health and wellbeing. It is a very gently massage. Not only does it have a profound effect on relaxation it also boosts the functioning of the lymphatic or glymphatic system. It aids in boosting the immune system making it a great complementary therapy for those suffering with allergies or recurrent infections such as sinusitis.
Kelly is a fully qualified Vodder Technique Therapist. She is qualified to treat Lymphoedema and Lipoedema patients. Kelly offers compression bandaging (traditional multi-layer and lighter self adhesive bandaging) and a compression garment fitting and ordering service.

I had an intensive course with Els. I tried to avoid it for a while, quite a long time in fact. It was probably a year of gentle nudging from Els until I was ready to do it. To be honest, I was scared. I knew there were some horrible things that I had to face and I didn't want to.
Was it hard? Yes
Was it emotional? Yes
Did I scream? Yes (in fact Els, even got me up dancing at one point!)
Did it feel good? YES!
Did I learn anything? - Yes, there was so much realisation that for weeks after, I was still having those "Aha" moments where things were still just making so much sense to me.
Has it made a difference to my life? Yes. I know myself so much better than I did before. I know why I behave the way I do, I know why I sometimes get upset and I know how to soothe myself and support myself through challenging times. I know how where I need to place my boundaries are and I know how to love myself. This is because I did the work. I did Script Ash Method.
I was so impressed with how Script Ash Method worked for me, I recommended it to everyone I knew.
Script Ash Method
Script describes the writing/drawing and even scribbling part of this therapy. There is so much meaning behind the writing, right down to the colours of the crayons you blindly choose to use in your script. Whilst talking and recalling memories and past actions, Els encourages you to keep drawing and putting the colours on the paper.
By doing this, it connects both the right and left sides of the brain. Emotions can not be suppressed. With Els' empathetic and instinctual knowledge, patience and understanding, you will find that you can connect to past issues and process the attached emotions properly. Sometimes using your voice to say out loud what needs to be said. Sometimes using your body to release the anxious energy (an even physical pain) that you've been holding on to.
When you come to realise how the events of your past are still controlling how you live today, you can regain control of your feelings. You can be in the driving seat of your life.
Ash - Burning
At the end of the process, you will go through a ceremonial burning of your drawings. Finally letting go, releasing your past, saying good bye and also saying thank you because as strange as it seems, the events of our past, shape us into who we are today and without those events we wouldnt be who we are today.
Wellbeing Reflexology, Oncology and Lymphatic Reflexology.
Els is a qualified VTCT Level 3 Reflexologist and specialises in Oncology Reflexology and Lymphatic Reflexology (The Middlesex School of Complimentary Medicine).
Reflexology is an ancient form of healing, dating as far back as 2,330 BC (Heiroglyphs in the Egyptian pyramids show what is believed to be reflexology therapies being performed).
The reflex points on the feet and lower legs, connect all throughout the body.
Reflexology can help release pain and tension and even promote healing and better general health.
Lymphatic Reflexology can promote lymph flow, reducing limb volume, relieving the pain and heaviness in the limbs and help to lessen the risk of developing infections by improving the immune system. In addition to Els' lymphatic reflexology, Els is also trained in using the clinic's Hivamat therapy machine, which actively breaks down lymphatic fibrosis to improve skin texture, lymph flow and reduce limb volume.
